FAQ

Everything you wanted to ask

Is After Miles for beginners?

Absolutely. We offer different distances and a range of pace groups, so there is something for everyone. If you are building up to running continuously or want to run/walk, you will have people alongside you. We are all about community, not just the miles.

How do I book a run?

1. Download CLIQ and search for After Miles Run Club.
2. Choose Pay As You Go or Membership.
3. Open the event calendar and book the run you want to attend.
4. Turn up with your QR code, ready to run.

What happens if I am pregnant?

Please speak to your doctor or midwife about whether running is safe and appropriate for you during pregnancy.

How often do you run?

Every Thursday at 7pm from Farley Wood Community Centre in Binfield, with 5km and 3km options.

We also run:

  • One Sunday a month in Bracknell, in collaboration with GAIL's
  • One Sunday a month in Ascot, in collaboration with Fego Bakehouse
  • Ad-hoc Windsor runs, in collaboration with GAIL's
  • Alternate Tuesdays during the school holidays at Ascot Racecourse

Dates, times, distances and booking details for each run are listed on CLIQ. We sometimes add extra runs and events too, so keep an eye on CLIQ and the WhatsApp community.

Is there a group chat?

Of course. The WhatsApp community is the place to ask questions, chat about races, share photos and basically just yap with the other girls.

Where do you run and what time?

Our regular Thursday run starts at 7pm from Farley Wood Community Centre in Binfield, with 5km and 3km options.

Our Sunday, Tuesday and ad-hoc run times vary. The exact location, distance, time and booking information for every run is on CLIQ.

How can I get in touch?

Send us a DM on Instagram at @aftermilesrunclub or join the WhatsApp community.

What paces do After Miles offer?

Our 5km pace groups usually range from around 6:00 min/km to 8:00 min/km. If you want to speed it up or slow it down, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Our 3km is usually around 8:00–9:00 min/km and includes a run/walk option. We never leave anyone behind. Whatever your pace, there will be girls to run with, and walking is always okay.

Is it members only?

No. You can join using Pay As You Go or Membership.

  • Pay As You Go is £5 per run.
  • Membership is £9.99 per month and includes unlimited runs, community perks, selected discounts, member-only events, discounted event tickets and first dibs on new merch.

Membership is cancel anytime, so you can choose whichever option works best for you.

What is the vibe, really?

Friendly. Supportive. Zero ego.

Running is the excuse. Community is the point.

Can I come alone?

Of course. Most of our girls come alone the first time, and we honestly think some of the best friendships begin that way. If you would rather bring a friend, they are very welcome too.

I have an injury. Can I still come?

Please consult a healthcare professional first. It is your responsibility to decide whether it is safe for you to take part, and we ask that you tell the team about any injuries before the run begins.

The After Miles team may ask you not to participate if we believe running could be unsafe for you on the day.
